Lindsy | Keith {Engagements}

Hi everyone!

I'm super excited to share today's engagement session with you all! We met up with Lindsy and Keith (both of Perryville) the week of the 4th of July. That week was the amazing week of weather, remember. Seems like a distant memory now, haha.  We did have an amazing time with this couple.

Lindsy and Keith met in high school at Perryville High School and have dated all through college. Lindsy attends UCA and Keith attends ATU. This past spring Keith proposed to Lindsy at Toad Suck Park in Conway, AR which is were we started the shoot.  Then they took us on the back roads all the way up to Petit Jean to the Winthrop Rockefeller Ranch. Lindsy worked there for a summer or two and it was fun to reminisce with her as we walked along.

Spending an evening with these two was so refreshing because they are both absolutely in love with each other. It made for SUPER adorable photos. Take a look for yourself...

Andrea | Ethan {Engagements}

Hello everyone!

I'm SUPER excited about today's post because these engagements are some of the CUTEST I've ever seen. The lighting last Monday was absolutely perfect, even thought it was very hot. Of course the cutest part about this shoot was the adorable couple- Andrea and Ethan.

Andrea and Ethan are both from Atkins, AR and started dating way back in 2007 in high school. Andrea joked at the shoot saying "we had been dating over 6 years and I was wondering why he hadn't asked me yet!" Ethan said he will always remember the moment that he asked her to marry him. He explained how he went to the store and bought a random jacket (that was way to big for her) to give as a birthday gift. The real reason he wanted the jacket was to put the ring box in, of course. Once she found the box in her pocket she forgot about the large size of the jacket. So sweet right?

We met up last Monday at their gorgeous wedding venue at the Pointe Remove Lodge in Hattieville, AR. We love the feel out there, and there are endless possibilities. :)

Ethan picked out this gorgeous ring, and I'd say he did pretty good! :)

Taylor | Dalton {Engagements}

Hello everyone and HAPPY WEEKEND!

Engagement sessions are absolutely one of the best things about being a wedding photographer! If you are considering having wedding photos taken and are not sure about having engagement photos, let me encourage you...HAVE ENGAGEMENT PHOTOS! (haha) Engagement photos are a great way to get comfortable with your photographer which eliminates added stress on your BIG day! :)

We were so happy when Taylor and Dalton contacted us about their wedding photography. They are both from our hometown (Pottsville) and we have kept up with them through social media for several years. They met when they were in 9th grade and then became high school sweethearts. They are very down to earth and laid back. We had such a great time with this sweet, sweet couple, and the amazing Barn at Twin Oaks Ranch made a beautiful backdrop for their love story.

 I don't know why, but I absolutely LOVE ring shots (and Lance is always so good at them)

Jen | Wesley {Wedding Day}

Hello everyone!

Jennifer and Wesley were married on June 15th atop the beautiful Mt. Nebo. It was a gorgeous day and surprisingly not stifling hot (as it was last year in June annnnd like it is today). Jennifer and Wesley's wedding was so, so sweet. It was filled with personal touches and lots and lots of proud family members.

We had such a great time seeing these two love birds get hitched, and we hope you do too:

We have never done a "Father and Daughter" first look before and we thought Jennifer's idea was so super sweet. Her father's reaction was priceless to seeing his little girl. This was right before they walked down the aisle. 

We were all basically in tears watching this sweet moment unfold. 

 Her veil was to DIE for! 

Towards the end of their reception, someone had the brilliant idea to take a group photo of the guests at the wedding. Some of them probably didn't get to make it in the photo, but I thought this was such a neat idea as well!
