Katie | Lucas {Brayberry Engagements}

Hello everyone!

I hope every body has had an awesome turkey filled Thanksgiving! :) We're still eating on our delicious turkey and I'm pretty sure it gets even better everyday, haha.
We met up with Katie and Lucas right before Thanksgiving break at the beautiful Brayberry Farm. Obviously, everyone knows that we love Brayberry by now. The possibilities are just endless, and that's why we love it so much! :)

Lucas and Katie are homegrown right here in Arkansas! Katie is a Pottsville, AR native and Lucas is from Mt.Home, AR. They are just totally adorable together and are so sweetly in love. We LOVE hearing how people met and fell in love, so Katie has kindly shared their cute "love story" with us. So now we will share it with you, :)

"In 2008, Lucas and I met through mutual friends. His girlfriend was actually on the UCA cheerleading squad with me. We spent the next year running in the same circles, going to the same mixers, and unintentionally spending a lot of time visiting with one another. As many college relationships do, Lucas's relationship ended, as did mine. We became even closer through these break-ups, by being there for one another. Once I moved back to Conway permanently we ended up spending a ton of time together. We even started working together, going to meet and spend time with each others families, and ultimately dating, but calling it friendship. Eventually I got a new job, and Lucas and I stopped spending much time together, both being so busy with our lives. We stayed connected through Lucas's roommate at the time, who was a mutual friend. I knew I had feelings for Lucas, and knew he had feelings for me, but the timing just couldn't line up. We tried dating once again, but just couldn't get it to work, with my long nights managing a restaurant, and Lucas working a 8-5 office job. In March of 2012, I texted to Lucas to see how he was doing, and things sparked up. We started slowly spending time together, not really doing anything but catching up at my house. Come July, I asked Lucas to go out with me on a double date for my birthday. From that night forth we were inseparable. We spent almost everyday with one another and the relationship naturally bloomed. I had never been happier, and I could tell he felt the same. Things became even easier once I got a new job at the UCA Athletic department, being able to spend more evenings together. We were quick to say "I love you" but it was easy saying it to someone who I had already considered my best friend."

And they lived happily ever after! :)

So sweet right?? We have been dying to get their session posted this week because it turned out so amazing!
See for yourself:

We're so excited about their May 2014 wedding!!! :)

Happy, Happy Saturday everyone!

Marisa | Forrest {Mt. Nebo Engagements}

Hello everyone,

Ahh, the weekend. Saturdays are for sleeping late, staying in your PJs, and eating breakfast that doesn't come in a package.   OH, and blogging! :) We haven't blogged in a few weeks because we've been swamped with family photography, and we typically only blog wedding stuff.

Speaking of wedding stuff, Marisa and Forrest are GETTING MARRIED! :) We are so excited about their 2014 wedding, and we are so excited about their adorable e-sesh from last Sunday on Mt. Nebo. We previously had to cancel their session because of rain, and all of the forecasts called for horrible weather last Sunday. It turned out to be one of the prettiest days of the year! I'm so glad they had perfect weather, they deserved it.

They brought along their furry babies for the shoot! Animals are always interesting to photograph but these were SUPER interesting! The two dogs easily weighed over 200 lbs put together, but they were both so lovable and adorable! Take a look for yourself:

Marisa and Forrest are just as cute without their sweet animals too :)

Can anyone say "ring envy"??? Ahh!!!

I'm sure 8-30-14 can't get here soon enough for these love birds! :)

Happy, Happy Saturday everyone!

Brittney | Jake {Wedding Day}

Hello everyone!

We have a gorgeous "fall-themed" wedding for you to drool over tonight! Brittney and Jake were married on November 2, 2013 at the gorgeous University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, AR. Their khaki and navy color scheme was perfect with the fall oranges, yellows and reds. The Raymond Munger Memorial Chapel is a GORGEOUS venue that just screams "classic wedding", which is always nice amidst all the burlap and lace nowadays. :)

Lance and I have known the Lee family for many years and Jake's mom happened to be Lance's 5th grade teacher! It was so fun to catch up with old friends!
We hope you enjoy their images just as much as we enjoyed being with this sweet couple and their wonderful families!

There is just so much about this picture that is hilarious! Haha!

Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Lee! :)

Happy, Happy Monday Everyone!
