Savannah | Victor {Engagements - Mt. Nebo Dardanelle, AR}

Hey Everyone!

We have engagement session after engagement session after engagement session! Good thing its one of our favorites! With time-change coming, our sessions are getting earlier and earlier every evening, but we try our best to time the sun perfectly to achieve this buttery smooth image that we love so much!

We met up with Savannah and Victor... and their precious English Bulldog, Buttercup! She's so stink in' cute! We always get excited when couples bring props, especially their fur babies! That's one of our favorites too!

Savannah had told me that they didn't like to have their picture taken, but you sure couldn't tell it! They totally rocked their engagement session... when buttercup wasn't stealing all the attention!!!

Take a look!

Happy Tuesday!

Allyson Gibson-Jackson (Bridals - Clarksville, AR}

Hey Everyone!

It's monday, and that means emails emails emails. We typically don't have time on the weekend to stop and answer emails, unfortunately. Between shooting a wedding all day saturday and church all day Sunday, we just save them for Monday morning!

However, Monday also means that we probably JUST shot a wedding and we can FINALLY post the brides Bridals! The worst part about a Bridal session is that is has to stay secret until after the wedding!

We were honored to shoot Allyson and Dillon Jackson's wedding this past weekend! They were married at The Meetin' in Clarksville and it was so pretty! As far as Allyson goes tho, she just beautiful! We were so excited to shoot her bridals! She decided to have the first half of her bridal session on the campus of the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville and its always the perfect spot for some traditional bridal portraits! THEN, she wanted to go up to her friends house who lives atop a mountain with the Arkansas River in their backyard! IT.WAS.GORGEOUS.

So, take a look!

An unexpected shoe with a wedding dress is always a favorite of mine! One of the first things I say at a bridal session is "GIRL! Let me see your shoes!" If you could see my closet you'd know my shoe addiction is out of control.

Happy Monday!

Smith Family | The Barn at Twin Oaks Ranch - Dardanelle, AR

Hey Everyone!

Last night we had the most amazing family shoot ever! We met up with the family who owns The Barn at Twin Oaks Ranch and that a BALL. I'm talkin' bow and arrows, tee pees, full-on flannel, cowboy boots... I mean, just name it!

Being totally and brutally honest, being hired to shoot this family was kind of a big deal for us! If you saw on my Facebook post, Lesleigh, mom, sees photographers work literally EVERY week. The Barn is one of the most prestige Wedding Venues in the USA! The competition can be stiff, and we are beyond honored to work for Lesleigh! She's and incredible designer, has such outrageous ideas, and absolutely loves to kick back and have a good time... her family too!

We see her son, Colten quiet a bit, as we are out at The Barn pretty often. He pretty much runs the place. What ever Colten says, GOES.... ain't that right mom?! I've told Kathryn many times that I wish I had full range of a place like The Barn to do whatever the heck I wanted! ...ya know, run around like crazy, climb and jump off things, chase the dogs, wrangle up some horses... limitless things to do out there! It's a kids DREAM!

As for the dad, Ken, we have met just a few times, but he has always been the nicest guy... I mean, you'd almost have to be to put up with Lesleigh! Haha! Just a joke, just a joke! In all honesty, this family is one of the most precious out there and you can tell that they are close-knit and nothing will ever change that!

Here's a look at their session! Nothing says WELCOME FALL like an Indian Head Dress and some flannel, right?!

Not everyone can look this bored when I say, "OK! Look really bored for me!" I'd say Colten totally nailed it!

"Alright... mom and dad, y'all sand here! Colten you stand right here... NOW SHOOT YOUR PARENTS!"

Happy Friday, y'all!

Keep watch for a behind the scenes look into this shoot and see what REALLY goes into a family session!

Jena | Orry {Lee Mountian Bluff - Wagon Wheel Barn - Dover, AR}

Hey Everyone!

WHEW! What a busy busy week we have had! We've been fighting the rain, and it's been winning! However, despite the rain, we have a GORGEOUS wedding to brighten up this dreary day! There's a brand spankin' new wedding venue on Lee Mountian and we are one of the very first photographers to shoot a wedding there! We were super excited!

We have both known Jena and Orry for quiet some time, and they've always been the sweets couple! I (Lance) went to school with Jena since, I THINK, 5th grade and Orry moved to our school just a few years after and we have always been friends! Its such a cool thing when high school friends end up getting married! Weddings are like huge reunions!

Jena had a really cool vision for her vintage Jbarn wedding, to be married on the bluff, then party it up in the barn afterwards! Her mom, Shelia McCarty has a Vintage Rentals business and has GOBS of the most unique and cool pieces of furniture! Mrs. McCarty really made Jena's vision come to life with the hand painted antiques, vintage tableware, and collectables!

 *Vintage Rentals by Mrs. McCarty - 1(479)970-2965 - She literally has everything you can imagine, and it's super cute stuff!*

Jena and Orry had the most adorable first look and their bridal party, ALL NINETEEN OF THEM, were soooo much fun and willing to do anything! We drug them all over that bluff!

We were absolutely honored to be a part of Jena and Orry's wedding day, and it's one we will never forget! We wish the two of them a long lifetime of happiness and even more than that, may everyday that you spend together be a new surprise! God bless you two and your new marriage today and for the rest of your lives! We are so happy to be able to call you guys our friends!

Enjoy the pictures, y'all!
