Moriah | Geoff {Russellville First Assembly of God Wedding}

Hello everyone!

We were honored to shoot the wedding go Moriah and Geoff Hamby a few weekends ago, and we had so much fun. Lance and Geoff go way back. They were friends when they were super young, and it was really cool to see them reconnect! We also knew Moriah in a roundabout kind of way, so it was just a fun wedding to be able to shoot! There's nothing more wonderful than walking into a wedding and everyone being in such chill moods and having such a great time. To Lance and I, it's so important to us to make the bride and groom to feel relaxed and find ways to let them enjoy their special day, for them to notice the small things, laugh, and just be in every moment of their day together. Moriah and Geoff had great planners and a incredible wedding party that made their day go off without a hitch!

They had a beautiful range of colors in their wedding, which makes things extra fun! There was turquoise, coral, hot pink, orange, yellow, green... you name it! It came together beautifully, and we are ecstatic to share it with you!

Happy, happy Monday!

Into the Lens: WE'RE FULL TIME!

Hello everyone!

Lance and I have been waiting a lonnnng time to write up this blog post. We are so beyond excited to announce that Lance is finally a full-time photographer!

Some of you are probably confused because you just assumed that that was his full time job already, but it wasn't.

Lance has worked at Cathy's Flowers in Russellville, AR for four years. He discovered his talent with working with flowers very quickly after he was hired and has been going ever since. The amazing owners and the amazing Cathy's staff taught him so much and felt like family to both of us. When we started our photography business we knew that he would eventually have to pick between the both of them, but he held out as long as he could.

Our awesome family at Cathy's held a going away party today for Lance, and it was so much fun just like it always is around that crazy bunch. I'm sure this isn't the last they will see of both of us, you can't get rid of family that easily, haha.

This was the amazing cake that they had made by The Cake Place! So amazing!

We have prayed for the right timing for this very important step in our lives, and a bunch of you have prayed with us. So, thank you! We are SO excited about this new adventure!

Brittany | Jacob {The Barn at Twin Oaks Ranch Wedding}

Hello everyone!

Whew! This summer is going by WAAAAY too quickly! Partly because I only had three weeks of summer in June, and also because are staying SO busy! This Saturday's wedding marks our 11 weekends in a row to have weddings, and we have so enjoyed them all! Especially the ones at The Barn at Twin Oaks Ranch!! We absolutely love shooting here because it's almost like we get to take a back seat. At most of the weddings we shoot we kind of end up being the wedding planner as well as the photographer (which is kinda fun), but they are so organized at The Barn that we just sit back and let them tell us what to do!

Brittany and Jacob's coral and ocean blue wedding turned out beautiful at The Barn earlier this month. We are so excited to share their gorgeous pictures with you today!

Happy, Happy Wednesday!
