Meagan | Steven {Engagement - Clarksville, AR}

Hey Everyone!

We are excited to be sharing Meagan and Steven's engagement session with you today! We first met Meagan when she was a bridesmaid at her friends wedding that we shot! We have always thought she is soooo gorgeous, and you'll see why! She's super super sweet and her and Steven are the perfect couple together!

They are getting married in January, luckily indoors! I can't wait to see what they pull off for this winter wedding! It's bound to be gorgeous with her incredible sense of style and Steven's willingness to do anything for her... right Steven!? ;)

When we asked Meagan and Steven where they wanted to go for they engagement shoot, they decided on a few locations in Clarksville! It feels like we travel to Clarksville several times a week just because there are so many opportunities for pretty locations! Not complaining! We started at the High School football Practice Field, then moved to an area that was sentimental to Steven, then finished up their session at the beautiful Campus of the Ozarks!

We had such a great time with Meagan and Steven and their wedding day is just around the corner! IT will be here before we know it!

Enjoy their sesh! I know we sure did!

And what's and engagement session without a quick game of Football, right?!

Can we just look at her ring all day... I mean, perfection.

Happy Thursday!

Angela | Kris {Engagements: Brayberry Farm, Dover AR}

Hey everyone!

Well, another Monday! They just never seem to go away! HOWEVER, we do have a precious precious couple to share with you today to hopefully make this monday a little better!

Angela and Kris are the perfect match! They both have personalities that are out of this world which made their shoot extra fun! We went to Brayberry Farm in Dover, AR. A lot of people don't realize that Brayberry is actually a Donkey Farm... miniature donkey's at that! And they are absolutely adorable! Angela, especially, was surprised when a donkey started braying... you just can't help but laugh!

Anyways, enough about the Donkey, more about Angela and Kris! I asked Angela to send us their 'love story'... you know, how them met, how he proposed, all that gushy stuff and this is what she sent:

First I must share a little background, Kris asked permission to date me by my father to date me two and a half years ago. Kris and I have spent many hours watching shooting stars, talking, and sharing what we want in life. Mount Nebo is where Kris and I fell in love, it is where our life together began, and it is forever dear in our hearts.

Now to start the story, Kris had invited me to go to Mount Nebo with him to have a picnic. I had just found a perfect picinic blanket the weekend before and I was ecstatic to go on a picinic to somewhere so dear to our hearts! So on that Saturday morning, the sun was shining and a slight breeze was blowing. I could not have planned for better weather! We were off to Mount Nebo with a picinic packed full of bread, peanut butter, swiss rolls, oreos, chips, and even the old time glass Dr. Pepper bottles. We spent a couple hours eating, talking, laughing, looking at the clouds, and enjoying one another's company.
There was a hot air balloon festival in Russellville that day and I asked if we could go (of course I was oblivious to the world...). So Kris agreed and seemed overly enthusiastic and began helping pack everything up. He took some of the things to his truck first, but then returned looking a bit nervous. However, I didn't connect the dots because he simply asked, "Angela, I have locked my keys in my truck. Would you please use the spare key you have and go unlock it?" So I obliged and walked up there to unlock the door, still clueless. Once I opened the drivers door, I looked down and noticed a ring and a note that asked if I would marry him. I turned around quickly to find Kris on one knee! I looked at him with hopeful eyes and said "You better not be kidding, that wouldn't be funny! Please tell me this is real!" And then Kris asked me to marry him. I forgot that I had to answer, I was simply jumping up and down and finally responded! It was one of the best moments of my life to be able to commit to the man of my dreams that I want to spend the rest of my life with him! God is so good!!

HOW PRESH, RIGHT?!

Enjoy their engagement session!

They wanted to set up this picnic for some for heir pictures, and of course we loved the idea! However, we didn't know that Angela had a little something up her sleeve for Kris! She gave Kris this memory book of the past few years they had been together! Tons and tons and tons of pictures of their 'story' with each other!

And whats a picnic without Dr. Pepper, right...

And a powder paint war, to top it all off! Every Session ends well with a power paint war!

Happy Monday!

Taylor | Nick {Wedding Day - Garvan Woodland Gardens, Hot Springs AR}

Hey Everyone... again!

We usually don't have time to blog two things in one day, but this just couldn't wait one more second! We are sharing with you the wedding of the beautiful Taylor and Nick George! We met Taylor and Nick for the first time at their engagement session and knew right off the bat that these two were going to be a blast! We could tell that they were both SO head over heels in love with each other!

Their wedding day was perfection! Her colors were 'grass green' meets lavender and other shades of purple. Her tables scapes had just the slightest touch of blue in the flowers and made things really pop! Her super super elegant gown made a beautiful impact on the more 'industrial' style of the Anthony Chapel within the gardens. Walking down a flagstone path to the chapel tucked deep into the woods made the expectation of this wedding to be nothing more than perfect, and Taylor and Nick delivered.

Kathryn and I have never been to a wedding where one of us didn't cry, and this day surly wasn't an exception. There were a countless number of moments that we were honored to capture and will share a few of them with you in the images below. From Nick getting watery-eyed as he watched his bride walk to him down the isle... to Taylor becoming totally overwhelmed with emotion during the 'big kiss' and walking out with tears streaming down her face... special moments that you just can't make up! These are what makes each wedding special and unique!

Anywho, enough jibber-jabber! Lets get to the photos!

OK, so take it for what it's worth, but its pretty hard to beat a fitted lace gown with a sheer overlay with crystals and rhinestones embroidered on. I mean, come on.

And these shoes are everything... sorry in advance for several shoe pictures. Can't really help myself.

Purple and burlap was the perfect combination, especially with Taylor's dad's bandanna to wrap the stems of her bouquet!

She beyond gorg!

Another shoe shot and not even sorry.

Like I said earlier, the elegance of her dress and the bridal party attire was a perfect contrast for the industrial styling of the Anthony Chapel!

"OK! Bridal Party! Stand on the ledge of this bridge!"

LOVE it when the bridal party is willing to do anything... even risk their lives!

The reception was held under a beautiful pavilion across the garden grounds!

Ok, this is one of those 'special moments' I was talking about earlier. Taylor didn't know what her dad had up his sleeve for their first dance and it totally took her by surprise. He reminded taylor of when they would dance when she was just a little girl and asked for at least one last dance with his little girl.

*Que water works*

Congrats Taylor and Nick! We love you guys and wish the absolute best for y'all!

Happy Thursday!
