We have been so excited to share with you Whitney and James Davis' wedding day! One of our favorite things is to post a wedding while the couple is on their honeymoon, in this case MEXICO, before the couple arrives back! It's like a big surprise when their phones get service and they're blowing up with comments and 'likes'! So fun, right?! They were married last weekend at Royal Ridge Barn, a boy was it EVERYTHING! We were so anxious to see the venue and it really was perfection!
Whitney chose a dreamy fall color pallet of burnt oranges, burgundies, greens, mustard yellow and a pop of purple... YES! Purple! (One of our favorite fall colors actually!) ...and to top it all off, her bridesmaids wore navy blue! It sounds like a lot, but it was styled perfectly with mix-matched dresses and shoes! The girls totally rocked it... you'll see! Everything was kept rustic chic all the way down to the brides cowboy boots matching the groom in jeans, vest and tie! Like I keep saying: PERFECTION.
There were so many great moments during their whole day! It was beyond hard to pick our favorite photos, so there's a little more than usual... but thats fine, right?!

It was a team effort getting whitney nice and snug into her dress. I don't get to shoot 'getting ready' pictures very often and I will admit that I was surprised at the amount of effort it takes to get a bride ready! Pulling, and tugging, and yanking and tieing... makes me tired just thinking about it!!!
The first look with Whitney's son was so precious! You can defiantly tell he was so proud to see his mommy all dolled up! That expression on his face melts my heart!

SEE!!!!? The navy blue brought it all together and made a big bowl of perfection soup! And it tasted soooo good though the lens!
And speaking of team effort... getting James to look a little fiminine with a fun picture with the bridesmaids was an act of congress!
"Just put your hand on your hip and throw the okay in the air! DO SOMETHING?!"
So. Worth. It. ...and we all got a good laugh.

Royal Ridge just built a brand-spankin'-new barn! They sure pulled out all the stops on this one!
